This faux sheepskin rug is a good purchase for the price. However, it is not recommended to be machine washed as it ruins the texture of the fur. The rug sheds a lot, however, adding a non-slip backing under it prevents it from sliding on hardwood floors. The rug is soft, but doesn't look completely realistic as it only has one flat colour, and the lightweight fabric backing looks cheap. Customers have used this rug for various purposes: for their dogs, as an accent rug, in their closets or as a photo prop.
