This Carnage statue has received mixed reviews from customers. Some love the overall appearance of the statue, but have had difficulties with attaching the tendrils to the base as there are no clear instructions and the tentacles can chip easily. The tendrils are also difficult to attach to the statue and have to be glued on. The paint job on some of the statues has been noted as dull and poorly done resulting in chipping easily. The base of the statue is uninspired and bland. However, some have had no quality issues and think the statue looks great. The packaging of the product has come under criticism, with some receiving items unboxed which have resulted in damage. Diamond select is usually solid, but some feel that this one falls a bit short.
