The Nikon COOLPIX S9900 Digital Camera with 30x Optical Zoom and Built-In Wi-Fi in black is a sturdy and feature-rich camera that is perfect for travel. The camera has a superb MACRO setting that allows you to focus down to less than 1/2 inch with excellent color accuracy, making it great for capturing close-up shots of flowers, spiderwebs, and even tiny print on warranties and jewelry hallmarks. The zoom lens is one of the best in its category, with very crisp pictures even at full optical zoom taken at Asa 200 to 400, and little noticeable noise up to Asa 800. The camera is made in Indonesia and has a flash. The camera's LCD can be left in the body of the camera or flipped out for shooting and review. The only downside to note is that the flash needs to be manually raised even when shooting in auto-mode.
