The wood is porous and can stain easily but is still a great value for its price. It has a flat adjustment limit of about 80 degrees and the handle determines the tension for rotation. It has a surface of about 16.5 in from side to side by 10.25 in from the rests to the top of the surface with moveable wood pegs. It's designed to be used on a table and not on the lap. Bulky and heavy, this easel is not advisable for Constantly-moving projects and different media work, but it's highly versatile, adjustable, and perfect for daily use.
