About This Item
Introducing the EVENT DIY Kit - Eurorack Module by Rat King Modular, the ultimate tool for your modular synthesizer setup. This versatile analog module is packed with features such as VCO, envelope, slew limiter (portamento), waveshaper, LFO, and envelope follower, allowing you to create unique and dynamic sounds. The EVENT module comes with a range of controls to customize your sound. The ONSET control allows you to adjust the positive rate of change in voltage, while the DURATION control handles the negative rate.
Both controls have bipolar CV input jacks for added flexibility. With the HEIGHT control, you can set the held voltage level when a continuous gate is applied, giving you precise control over your sound. The TRACK control, with its 1v/oct input, is particularly useful when using the EVENT as a VCO. And the START input serves as a gate/trigger/pulse input to initiate a cycle when the EVENT is patched as a voltage-controlled envelope. The SIGNAL input on the EVENT module can accept a constant or fluctuating voltage, making it perfect for manipulating CVs.
The SIG OUT is the main output, delivering the result of the gate/trigger/pulse input or SIGNAL input. Additionally, the PLS DLY provides a short pulse for triggering other events as a pulse delay or as a self-trigger when patched back into itself. This DIY Kit by Rat King Modular is designed to be easy to assemble, with a module width of 8HP and a depth of 22mm. It requires a current draw of +12V: 50mA and -12V: 43mA.
