The 1942 Earth Worth Timberjack Log Lifter is a solid and sturdy tool made of steel with both a wooden handle and metal handle available. It works as advertised for logs within the specified size range and is effective in saving both the chain saw chain and one's back from extra wear. However, it is not recommended for oversized logs and heavy stuff. The 'T' jack could have been a bit wider for better balance, but longer logs are more stable. While some experienced negligible sloppiness, adding washers to eliminate that didn't pose a challenge. The foot can come in handy in getting logs up in the air better for cutting. One user recommended reinforcing the tool with a piece of black gas pipe. One user received the product without some bolts, washers, and nuts, but it turned out that there is only one bolt that holds the claw to pick up the log. Some users found the pot metal poor in quality, causing it to bend on flipping the very first log. Overall, the tool is easy to use and a worthwhile investment for cutting firewood.
