StewMac Tools 2004 Editorial Review
StewMac Guitar Neck Relief Gauge, 12 Inch with Dial Indicator | Truss Rod Adjustment Tool for Measuring Neck Bow and Setup on Guitar, Bass and Fretted Instruments, Precision Dial is an essential tool for precise neck adjustments. Users commend its ability to deliver readings accurate to the thousandth of an inch, making it a favorite for guitar setups. The gauge is easy to zero on a flat surface, and once positioned on the frets, it helps provide reliable measurements. Many note that it simplifies the setup process compared to feeler gauges, ensuring consistency in neck relief throughout the year. While most designers appreciate its robust aluminum construction, a few suggest that wider feet would improve stability during use.
