    Answer: It can be used for random orbit, finish, detail, contour, and finger sanding.
  • Question: How do I change the sanding pads?

    Answer: Simply press the lock button and twist the lever to swap the pads in seconds.
  • Question: Is this tool compatible with other WORX batteries?

    Answer: Yes, it integrates seamlessly into the PowerShare system, allowing you to use different voltage batteries.
  • Question: Can I buy the 5-1 sander without the battery and charger?

    Answer: Yes, there should be an option to select 'Tool-Only' or another listing. Worx lists them on their website too.
  • Question: For Milwaukee random orbit either Worx 20v, does the input charger support 110v or 220v? Can I use the power AC in a foreign country?

    Answer: For the US Worx sander, the charger is 110v only. The European charger is dual voltage, but the batteries are not interchangeable. So if you buy an American Sander, you have to use the American battery.
  • Question: How does the sandpaper attach?

    Answer: The system by which the sandpaper is attached is called hook and loop, which works like Velcro.
  • Question: Can this sand paint off of a car?

    Answer: If you use the correct paper, yes. There are sand papers specifically for auto body work. You will need Velcro backing or you can attach some to standard paper.
  • Question: Will it polish scratched marble?

    Answer: Yes, but make sure you use the round pad and get the correct paper for it.
  • Question: Will this work with Worx 32v battery?

    Answer: No, this would be a different battery voltage and battery platform.
  • Question: How long does it last on a single charge?

    Answer: I can't really answer that about the sander, but I have the drill kit with the same battery and it lasts quite a while. I suspect the sander won't last as long because it will be more continuous than the drill. But more than one battery should solve that situation.
  • Question: How long does the Velcro last and can you replace it?

    Answer: It lasts a long time.
  • Question: Any suggestions on replacement sanding discs for the orbital sander? I tried SATC 72 pcs 5' 8 hole hook & loop discs, but the holes don't line up.

    Answer: Please note if you are referring to the sanding paper, it is not 100% necessary if the holes do not line up. Also, included with this machine is a hole punch accessory. You may purchase non-perforated sanding sheets and use the hole punch to create the holes.
