My dentist recommended using 2 drops of this on a toothbrush 2 or 3 times a week for brushing gums. Does anyone else use this for that?
Answer: The active ingredient in this is the same as prescription-strength mouthwash. I take an ounce out of a regular bottle of mouthwash and add one ounce of this back in. It makes the regular mouthwash 0.125% vs the prescription strength which is 0.12%. Your dentist was just doing it a different way.
