Answer: No, it fits the way it is, just thread through. -

Answer: Stretch it out to full size. Depending on the type of connector you use there can be leeway if needed. -

Is the 10 inch set actually strong enough for the 24x24 right angle sail?
Answer: The answer is missing. -

Answer: Diamond 4 holes shape 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches. Suggest you use 2 to 4 inch screws as the ones they provide are not long enough.
