It is dishwasher safe but is mostly hand washed by the users. The dimensions of the scoop part are 7 inches length, 4 inches wide, and 2 inches deep. However, some users found the dimensions listed confusing but have noted that the scoop itself is huge and great for gardening. The scoop is made of polypropylene and is BPA-free.
