The percentage of chloramine removed varies based on factors such as flow rate, temperature, pH, and amount of contaminants present. Most users will see chloramine reduced to below detectable levels. The mini filter is sturdy and shouldn't be prone to bursting. The filter should be drained of water before storage in a refrigerator. Replacement filters cost $19.95 and last about 1,500 gallons when used as directed. The Mini and Jr models are made with equal quality, and the design of Mini makes the filter change easier. The Mini model is more recommended if fluoride reduction isn't a priority. However, it is not recommended if the user is looking for fast water drip.
