The 3 Axis GRBL 1.1f USB Port CNC Engraving Machine Control Board Engraver Milling Machine Controller board is a replacement board for the 3018 Pro CNC. It is very easy to install and use. The software comes with the board, so you don't need any other board or software to get started. The limit switch pins are configured in such a way that the kernel on the board is notified when they are activated or deactivated. The board is also compatible with LightBurn software. It is very good quality and works well. However, the board doesn't come with any instructions or wiring diagrams, and if your machine doesn't have the 2.5 wiring harnesses, it can be difficult to figure out what wire goes where. It also doesn't come with a power supply, and they don't describe the power supply type and size. If the drivers on the board go out, there is no easy way to replace them, and the board becomes e-waste. Overall, this is the best replacement board for a 3018, but some improvements could be made.
