This epoxy primer is a versatile product that can be used on a variety of surfaces including plastic bumpers, sanded factory paint, and metals. The product can be painted over within 24 hours of application, and to use it as a sealer, follow the printed instructions for primer and sealer. The product can fill small pits and scratches, but for larger ones, it is recommended to use Bondo glazing spot putty, and for build thickness, it is best to use another product because this one is a little thin. The product sprays well and gives good coverage, and it is fairly forgiving to spray with a 1.8 or larger tip gun. However, the product can be clumpy on the bottom half of the can and needs to be stirred completely before use. One gallon can do two coats, but more will be needed if doing inside the bed and all. Each quart needs a quart of activator. When used as a sealer, reduce it by 1:1:1/2 reducer. One reviewer suggested that cleaning equipment and thinning can be costly as their expensive reducer is required. It is shipped in containers that can be damaged, but the product does not leak.
