Answer: It’s yellow all the way through -

Can this be cut with a pair of scissors?
Answer: Yes! But the acrylic needs to be heated to its glass transition temperature (between 240-260F for cast acrylic). 'Hot Plexiglas is rubbery and can be cut like heavy rubber. Hence, for cutting hot Plexiglas, scissors, tin snips, the guillotine-type of paper cutter, or even a heavy knife can be used.' - Working With Plexiglas, Rohm and Haas, 1947. Also, the edge will not be great so be prepared to finish it. For straight cuts at room temp, use a knife and score and break (much like glass). -
