The brackets are drill-free, which means that you don't have to drill any holes in your roof, and the kit already includes screws that can be used to fasten the panels to the brackets. One user installed two 100-watt panels bolted together on their long side using these brackets on the roof of their RPod, with only 3M tape to mount it to the top (fibreglass, not rubber roof). The brackets are still firmly attached even after 5,500 miles of rain, snow and heat, and they only used one year on them at the time. However, they caution that prep work is important to assure proper bonding, such as scrubbing the roof with soap and warm water, rinsing, then cleaning the attachment areas on the roof with acetone and white washcloths until no evidence of soil was visible on the washcloths. The user also gave a thumbs up, so far, and advised close monitoring after installation.
