The Huffy Everett 27.5” Electric Comfort Bike for Adults is an aluminium bike that has been built to be an e-bike, with a pedal assist that provides a power boost whilst going up hills. The bike weighs approximately 51lbs and has an electric motor that can assist riders up to 20mph. The bike can be pedalled without the motor, but this requires more effort. Assembly of the bike is required, with the front wheel, handlebars, saddle and some adjustment needed. Featuring a thumb control, which can be used to shift gears downwards, the bike needs to have a rider pedalling to get the motor to run. Riders of around 5’2” and above can comfortably ride the bike, regardless of the wheel size, with frame geometry being the more important factor. The battery, rated at 36v and 7.8AH, can last up to 25 miles depending on surface, inclines and weight of the rider. The bike is not suitable for trail riding due to its smooth tyres. Reviews have been positive, with customers stating that the bike is solid, dependable and good value for its price point. However, some users experienced that the brakes were excessively shrieky and required adjustment, and that the gears were a little wobbly and made noise at some levels.
