Hemline Yarn PE_D_DKUS_050123_B00KH43NZS Editorial Review
The Hemline Wool & Polyester Darning Yarn has garnered a mix of positive feedback and Constructive critique from customers who have used it for mending garments, particularly socks and sweaters. Many users highlight its effectiveness in repairing worn-out items, noting it provides an ideal solution for darning holes in socks, especially those made from fine materials like merino wool. The yarn's compatibility with darning eggs received mention, indicating users appreciated the versatility and utility it brings to the mending process. However, there are notable concerns regarding the thread's durability. Some users reported that after several washes, the yarn began to break down significantly, suggesting it may not withstand long-term use as effectively as desired. This presents a downside for those looking for a more resilient mending solution. Overall, the product seems to fulfill its primary purpose for many crafters and repair enthusiasts, providing a satisfactory experience in terms of ease of use and effectiveness for darning. However, potential buyers may want to Consider the longevity of the yarn based on feedback before making a purchase. **
