The Carrera First Mario Kart Slot Car Race Track Set is a small and compact set, perfect for young children. The dimensions when assembled are 3.05 x 1.48 ft/ 93 x 45 cm, with a track length of 7.87 ft/ 2.4 m. The product comes with contact brushes, however, spare parts are not sold for Carrera First. The set can be expanded with the addition of the extension set 67001, although for the price, it may make sense to purchase another base system. The cars are 1:52 in size, smaller than Carrera's 1:43 Go! line. Although the cars are sensitive, they're reshaped easily by fixing the bristles. Some customers have had issues with car durability, as one has reportedly broken after a few uses. One customer also noted that the track doesn't stay together well. Other customers have been satisfied with the product, saying it's great for kids or adults at heart.
