    Answer: No guideline. It will work on any cord that slides easily through the eyelets.

    Answer: I believe they would but works better with slightly larger cord, 1/4 inch works real well.
  • Question: Do these work well with 3mm accessory cord?

    Answer: 3mm cord is very small.The cord I am using it with is much thicker then that.
  • Question: Will these work for kayaks?

    Answer: I don't think they'd be secure enough to tie down a kayak, you'd be much better off tying with a trucker's hitch which if you tie it right will still come completely undone quickly and easily.
  • Question: Is there a maximum load on these? i'll be using 5mm pmi cord and want to secure a shade structure under possible high winds.

    Answer: No real 'load' issue as that is more an issue of cord and grommet strength. The only potential issue with the adjusters is slippage, and these are pretty good.
  • Question: Can this be used for rock climbing? What is the safe working limit?

    Answer: No, they are not designed or intended to be used for rock climbing.
  • Question: Where are these made? The name had me wondering where Mt Freedom might be..

    Answer: I'm sure they are made in China like everything else.
