Answer: I wouldn't try it. The product keypad is well made but doesnt have any weather seals to prevent moisture from going inside. Plus the lock is plastic and in the elements dryrot will take over fast with it. -

What happens if the battery is dead? Will the lock stay open or close? If it stays close, how do I open it?
Answer: There is a USB port on the side. Plug it into the wall with a long cord and it will power up. -
