    Answer: Yes, it is available in a pint size.
  • Question: Does this need a separate poly coat for a nice shine finish?

    Answer: You can topcoat it if you want it glossier, but it's not necessary for a nice finish. It is urethane after all.
  • Question: Will this need a sealant as well, or would be table be ready to use once this dries for a few hours?

    Answer: It needs nothing for a finish, but you can use a sealant if you like.
  • Question: I'm looking for a light red oak stain, did anyone buy this color stain? Do you have photos?

    Answer: No, this is more of a dark espresso color, not red oak. Sorry, we don't have photos.

    Answer: As the color implies, it looks like espresso on wood.
  • Question: Does anybody know why they totally changed the color, much lighter?

    Answer: I haven't noticed it being lighter, but you could have received an old can. Sometimes the solids settle at the bottom.

    Answer: Yes, you must prep the wood by removing old stain or paint before using this type of stain. Varathane does make a similar colored stain that is designed to be used over a surface that has already been stained or painted.
